Water Pressure

Low water pressure in my "new" house. about one and half month ago i purchased a house and the water pressure wasnt very good (it was 1/ - 1.5 bar) so i called united utilities and they sent out an inspector. inspector came and checked the water pressure and the result was 1.2 bar and 8 liter/minute(standing pressure and flow rate). he said there could be lead pipe in the street and he would send people out and replace these lead pipe in the street.

Before they come to do the job, i removed my nanny flat's boiler and installed it onto the 1st floor of my house. when i commission the central heating system it can only go up to 0.7bar.(boiler needs 1bar to start) so i waited til they come and replace the "lead pipe in the street". yesterday they cam and dug up the ground and found out there's no lead pipe, it has already been replaced to polyethylene pipe. so they replace the stopcock before the water meter.

an inspector came again today and he checked the water pressure on the external meter. the result was 1.2bar and 9liter/minutes and he said under the guaranteed standards scheme (GSS) he's not going to do any more works.

what should i do now? i can not install the boiler to the ground floor because there's no space and way out for the flue. any ideas i can improve the water pressure in my house?

some sort of pump set up or gravity hot water system perhaps

I would not expect miracles.
You have 1.2 bar to the property (the suppler only has to guarantee 1 bar).

You are not working in loaves and fishes the only option would be to tank it and fit a pump.

if i have to install cold water cistern all that what sort of booster pump will i need? any recommendation?
