I've just had a walk in shower installed with 4 jets. Our current water system is linked to the mains and although it should give around 3 Bar pressure it is only around 2 Bar. When taking a shower without the jets on the pressure is minimal so we don't even use them and filling a bath takes ages.

I have been told we cannot fit a pump to a mains supply so are there any other options available to increase our water pressure - even if we have to change the complete system ?

If your standing pressure is 2Bar that's still a decent push behind your suply. However you may have a flow issue which is something totally different. Get a plummer in to check your working pressure. if you have an old suply that may be an issue.

Have your water suply checked Dave Grist, would be te first port of call I'd say. If you are not geting enough suply coming into your house then the shower will not perform as it's designed to do. Your installer should realy have checked out your suply before installing it IMHO!
