Having a bit of a moment understanding reading water pressures dynamic and standing. I've looked at a system and the standing pressure was around 2 bar and dynamic with kitchen sink running about 0.25-.05 bar.
So when a combi requires a minimum 1 bar pressure is this asking for dynamic? My worry was I wouldn't be able to fill the heating circuit sufficiently, or am I just getting mixed up?

2 bar standing will fill the system ok.

Thanks Simon, I had a flow rate of around 13l per min, in your opinion would the pressures and flow rates that I've given be suitable for a combi boiler? I would have thought that the flow rate was on the low side and if two outlets were used it would result in poor performance at the taps?

I always thought with gas combis you were around the 9, 10 or 11 litre mark. We have a gas combi with decent cold water pressure and flow and it still doesnt like two hot taps open.

I wouldn't be looking to fit a combi with that kind of pressure and flow. You will be better off with stored water and use a pump if they want more pressure for the shower etc.
