Hi people, thought i would ask this question here as you have all really helped me out in the past, i recently got held of a second hand water softener but not sure as to what model it is exactly and hoping you could help, i will post a few pics, i had a leak from the valve that attaches to the resin tank, but i sorted that, i gave the brine tank and the filling pipe thingy ma jig as there seemed to be a fair bit of salt that had gone solid at the bottom of the tank, poor salt tablets by the looks of it.

But now i seem to have the problem where the brine tank is filling right up to the overflow, i have just sat and watched as i done a manual regen on it and water was certainly been drawn from the valve as i could feel it on the hose leading to the drain and see the water being drawn to the pipe from above the salt, but the level never dropped ?? then at the end of the regen it performed a 6 minute refill and again filled it right to the overflow again? when i installed it originally the tank did fill up a fair bit due to the leak from the valve, if i empty it of water completely and perform another manual regen will this solve the problem or am i looking at something else, thanks in advance everyone, oh and the water is soft its just the level in the brine tank that is worrying me, the blue marks on the front i put to show me the salt and water level before regen and dont know if you can see its gone way up to the overflow, its an Aqua-Dial, thats the only writing on it at the front?
