Water water everywhere!!!

Hi guys I have a tribune range and I have water constantly flowing into tundish and I have to keep topping up the red vessel to increase the bar. I am not a plumber but I know I need to replace a two port motorised valve but any help would be great. Thanks matt

Red vessel should have nothing to do with the hot water side of things. To work on unvented cylinders you must be qualified G3. Call a pro in.

Get some one in who knows what they are doing with unvented and suitably qualified g3. As it's pretty easy to go from unvented water heater to bomb .

get a g3 qualified engineer in to fix the leaks and have your unvented cylinder annual service check at the same time.

some guys will probably discount there rate for this if they are already there fixing whatevers broken.

as an x-tribune engineer, that is probably a very easy fix PROVIDING you get the right guy in to sort it.

It's better to get it fixed and pay the £200 ish or have your house demolished and no insurance as you didn't maintain it properly or employ a competent and qualified person.

totally agree jon, people can you please refrain from giving safety sensitive information that would encourage posters (on other threads not just this one) to have a go at fixing potential bombs themselves.

Completely agree.

We don't want to suspend members accounts for any reason whatsoever but if information is given that can potentially put peoples lives and homes at risk then we might need to consider giving a holiday from UKPF.

OP. Understand completely that times are tough but it is illegal for you to be touching your cylinder. Not only that you could potentially do serious damage.

Get a g3 qualified plumber in.

Other forums my not be as responsible or perhaps those giving advise are have a go heros? I am qualified and don't give advise for 2 reasons. 1. I paid to learn and I'm expertise is valuable. 2. It's not safe for some one who only knows half the story to advise someone who then only gets 1/4
