The type with a twistable control that mounts on the surface?

Can't find any googling around. Anyone know if the control nob hole is likely to be a universal size for a non like-for-like replacement?

If not will just suggest a white

sink hole stopper and a new strainer waste with circular overflow.

Remote control kitchen waste.

I have just replaced the wastes on similar jobs and left the old knob control in position.

Ahh "remote pop-up waste" brings up a few on eBay. Question is how likely they are to fit in the hole. Some are under a tenner so will say I will get one to try and if not blank it off and fit a regular strainer and keep it on the van for another day.
