Went to size up for a job today, not sure what boiler to fit do you think a 24kW lpg combi will be sufficient, could fit a 4 pack outside.

Apparently was fitted in 1970, they are using circa £2k of oil a month at the moment!

Better use a 30kw just to be on the safe side.
Looks like painted asbestos lagging?

Yup, that is being removed in the next week or so by contractors along with the asbestos lagging on flues, was just on site with leccy today, getting him briefed to make the control panel. They are having the boilers replaced, and a low loss header fitted, this year and the pumps done next year.

Burners are putting over 110kW heat in each, though probably more like 70-80 out, as flue temps are up around 375deg Badged up as 'Allied Iron Foundries' and dated 1970, the customer has some great plans of the house and all the heating and hot water runs

Looking at 2 grant vortex 58/70 boiler house but running them both at 58kW

looks like youve got an interesting job there Roger keep us updated with some pics. :)
