Hello all.
Looking for some help and information about college courses.
Currently looking to change careers and plumbing seems like the most appealing to me. I'd also like to work specifically with renewables if at all possible.
I've spent the past 8 months or so applying to numerous apprenticeship schemes to simply get an outright rejection almost immediately. This is frustrating and disheartening. Doing a college course seems like the next best thing and could help me an awful lot, and this is where I'm hoping the pros will come and help!
So one course I found:
Access to Building Services (plumbing)
City & Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Access to Building Services Engineering (Plumbing)
Provided by - West Thames College
Another:
Performing Engineering Operations (Plumbing) Level 1
Provided by - Harrow College
Bearing in mind I have absolutely zero prior experience of the sector or anything construction related.
I'm just looking for some advice about which course will be the most fruitful and allow me to progress further.
Thanks
Colin
