what inhibitor do you prefer to use in heating systems?

is there really any difference from a cheep bottle to a more expensive one?

Prefer Fernox as it guarantees not to react adversely with other products which may already be in system (biased as I have been on their course) but to be fair Sentinel seems pretty good as well.

I use Kamco Systemsafe DM as I normally add it following a powerflush when fitting a new boiler and it's half the price of Fernox/Sentinel

I normally use Sentinel or Fernox, mainly because they're about the only two brands that boiler manufacturers recommend, and apparently if you don't use what they want you to, the warranty is invalid.
