Don't know but that's a result. Saves you paying for disposal.

i know! i was skipping across the road to my van laughing.

my theory is someone was a rubbish removal guy was due to pick up a bog on that road and just presumed that was the one....pahaha

A few years ago we were totally re-furbing a place in Wiltshire. We took out a
choclate brown bathroom set - bog bath basin and bidet complete with a gold
roman motif all around the fittings - i said skip it -

My shotgun hosed it off put on the grass outside with a sign - SOLD IN 1 HR !

The vitreous enamel in old toilets can actually be melted down to make stuff like replacement teeth etc. Bet you didn't know that!

No, no I didn't. Toilets can be melted down and put in people's mouths? Is that even legal or morally right?

Anyway probably one of chk,s employees. There not allowed to crap in people's houses.

Yeah they are heated to over 3000 degrees in a blast furnace and poured into moulds to make false teeth amongst other things. This is what nearly all vitreous enamel sanitaryware is recycled into. That sort of heat kills any bacteria known to man. My advice is don't ever buy vitreous enamel false teeth. Where did I find this out from? A mate of mine who is a dentist.
