It’s a compression elbow/bend with one side male (pipe) and the other female (socket).
It will be called : m and f, conversion, spigot depending on make.
As Shaun says it’s for overflow pipe sizes.

What did it come off? I’m guess from under the sink? Did the corrugated overflow go into it?
Or is it off a McAlpine condensate tee?

You could probably replicate it by cutting the flange off an overflow tank connector?
