Hi All
I have a house with single panel radiators throughout. i am looking to replace all of them but obviously want to pay the least for the best quality (don't we all). i know what BTU and rad size and i want double convectors.
Question: What ones do i choose?
- Screwfix "kudos"?
- Trade radiators "own brand"
- Trade radiators "branded"
- local plumbers merchant

i mean is a radiator just a radiator so don't worry about brand?

opinions welcome
Andy

Buy whatever rads you want at whatever price you are prepared to pay.
It's really not the rad that makes the difference, it's what's inside it.

Wouldn't buy screwfix ones had 8 pop after a powerflush

interesting,
taking that on board if its all about a cheap price have a look at the screwfix web page and look at the clearance section. There are loads of radiators of all sizes being sold as clearance stock for really cheap prices. ( possibly due to quality? )

And half were on the badge in the top corner

PTS are doing cracking prices on Stelrad Softline at the moment.

cant comment on pts prices however plumbcenter do myson premier comp a nice looking radiator.
plumbcenter also do centerbrand rads made by stellrad im told.
beware however of getting caught price wise when dealing with the nationals all the little bits add up.
i pref to use atlas heating in the north west . its not funny when the bill comes in from the plumbcenter always 25% more than u think it should be .
