what type of boiler do i need

i am looking for the cheapest way to replace my boiler, my current one is ancient (a vulcan floor standing) with a hot water cylinder in the bathroom and we have 7 rads, the boiler is on an inside wall in the kitchen and i know a new one would have to be on an outside wall , so do i need a system boiler for less hassle or a combi.
Any advice is greatly appreciated

Cheapest is to go open vent and reuse everything.... but.... it's similar to sticking a Ferrari engine in a mini. Controls/radiator valves and possibly radiators should be updated to make max efficency gains to be honest.
Oh and open vent systems are from the dark ages...

Sealed system using a heat only boiler ? Or a combo boiler.

the vulcan is probably running gravity primaries so they will need updating a combi would be good if you only have one bathroom

Thanks for all the replies so far , forgot to mention the location of my vulcan boiler its on an inside wall in the kitchen and the flue goes straight up and out of a chimney, are there boilers that could fit in the same location and use that type of flue.

you can fit a boiler anywhere in your property, Given that the flue run is in line with the manifactures instructions, I'E Lenth and max bends but each flue extension will cost you and every meter of the flue will need to be inspected each year at the service.
