Leaking from pan spigot to pan connector connection. Someone has siliconed this joint before although not clear if done from first installation or to remedy a weep but whatever it was done for it has apparently managed to last 16 years before going.

I'm reasonably used to pan connectors but never done any soil and vent stuff so don't even know what I'm looking at here. Ideally I'd like the least hassle, least difficult and most likely to work solution. Not resorting to re-doing silicone if I can help it. I also don't want to risk pulling something apart that falls apart, or a seal rips that can't be fixed because they don't sell them anymore or something and have to dig into tiles to re-do. 100% dead cert solutions pls! :)

Thanks

Cut a bit of soil about 2 inches long and push that into the bit coming out of the wall. The. The pan connector is just push for and will go between that and the toilet.

Smallest mcalpine Flexi mulitquik should do. Even that might be abit awkward. Cut the soil back to the closest joint to the wall and go from there. Multitool jobbie.

Is this fat raised ridge here there because it contains a seal? (sorry, did say no experience with soil and vent materials.) And would this make a good seal on a short piece of soil pipe if inserted? Is this what is being suggested? And are all the current pieces in place just push fit?

Thanks

Yes

Not sure what I would do.
You will have to remove the pan - could cause breakage.
Where will you find another green pan from?
( I'm near 30 years in the game and never seen one )

I would explain to the customer the downfalls and the issues with the pan.

I would remove all the silicon the best I can and just re-silicon.
..and offer to paint the soil pipes green to match the pan...

I'd chop just to the right of that ring seal bulge, as said shortest flexi you can find.

I only really trust the jubilee clip pan connectors.

You won't have to remove the pan...as Phil said. Cut just to the right of the rubber seal closest to the wall which would leave a piece of soil pipe in the fitting. Then push your new short Flexi into the soil pipe and back onto the toilet pan...you may need to cut the pipe twice initial to get it out from behind pan.

I say you won't...judging by the picture you shouldn't have too. It does seem tight tho that's why I have said the shortest flexi
