what's the best rag?

Hi
Can anyone recommend a good plumbing or plumbing/heating publication (weekly, monthly of quarterly). I am a student but this doesn't need to be a major consideration.
Also can any plumbers or students recommend a good suportive body to register with. Preferably one that offers good support to students whilst keeping abreast of the latest legislation and developments within the industry.

Well I would take a look at the institute of plumbing for membership
There is also a free monthly mag at some of the merchants,plumb center and travis stock it,has some good articles
Dave one of the forum administrators does a good range of plumbing books also

And give Bernie2 threads on this forum a look at,some interesting stuff there,as there is in a lot of threads when searched through for the topic you are looking for

I was quite surprised to find that there isn't such a publication available (subscription fee, drop through your door monthly, that kind of thing) when i started making enquiries...there's an opportunity for smoeone there, surely.
Thanks puddle i'll look in to the institute of plumbing and go from there.

i'd spotted that a few months back but passed it by thinking there might be some better more 'glossy' mag that all plumbers got through their door.
I've just tried to subscribe but as a trainee i don't yet have the info that they require. I'd have to make up my company name, make up how many people are employed in it, and more before i could subscribe....🙁
 
i used to enjoy 'plumbers mate' but i hav'nt seen one for donkey's?.
