Fitted a baxi megaflo last March. ( last one) this job was 45 miles from home.
got a phone call to say boiler needed topping up every two days, so I called in (90 mile round trip) checked for any leaks and found none. Took front off the boiler to find a pool of water in the bottom. Checked the auto air vent wasn't leaking and concluded there was a leak somewhere from the main plastic block!
boiler was under guarantee so called out heat team, told them it wasn't the auto sir vent.
they came out and replaced the auto air vent ( said that is what was leaking)
fast forward to a few days ago, the customer rings and days it has still needed topping up every two days.
i go out today (90 mile round trip) and three hours! Took front of boiler to see the same leak as before.

do I invoice baxi for my fuel and time.

Should have sent heat team! I take it's a GA range?
Correct!
the trouble is I wanted to make sure it wasn't anything other than the boiler. Did also expect them to fix such a large leak on the first visit.

I fitted a Baxi Platinum must be 7 year's plus and the boiler heat exchanger leaked from the 1st fill straight down the condense pipe.

Heat Team came out and said new boiler, they paid me to exchange I charged them approx £400
to fit replace.

Had a massive row with heat team. Apparently you cannot fit prv into a multifit conny pump. Our custard was advised that it was not only incorrect but dangerous. Strange that it's on Baxi own website! Engineer and heat team had a rather angry me on phone. .

fitted a duotec hea in jan and when filling water pouring from boiler - I remove cover to find the flow pipe nut loose in the boiler

Heat Team dropped a testi on a job of mine last week. Duo Tec 2 GA, went to update the software, left the ignition lead off the pcb and left. No ch or dhw for the customer. He should have checked it was working when he put the case back on. Wasn't sure if I should ring and complain or not, but it won't get me anything.
