Phonecall last Tuesday. Boiler needs servicing. Unusual as they only phone when its bust. No service dates till first week in May. OK, Friday that week.
Phonecall Wednesday morning, let it go to voicemail. The blokes wife, boilers gone off 4 times this morning. Tough chit, I thought, shouldnt have lied last night.
Missed a couple more calls since then but answered their call this morning. No heating or hot water since last week can I have a look. Should have said last week I would have had a look.
So went up tonight. The boiler is a real bag of poop, cant remember the make, but it has a twin stage sterling. Turns out it was a coil, luckily not the soft start one.
Gives her a bill for 75. Oh and you serviced it too? Nope, thats a seperate visit, seperate payday. Oh I thought you would have serviced it at the same time. I dont service after 5, it was an emergency call out. Its running, end of.
I expect the service call will be cancelled and there was no way I was giving them the printout at 10.5 co2 and 0 co ppm.
