I’ll try and do what the heck I want Britain? With all the questions in relation to fixing boilers, trying to touch gas, electrics etc. Is it me or has it always been the same?

I think this is probably something that has got worse and people that have taught themselves how do something they've never done before after watching a youtube tutorial think they can take anything on. I also think there's been an increase in DIYing over the lockdown due to a mix of people after more time on their hands, being stuck at home and not wanting people to come into their houses.

You will always get em mate it's human nature people can't resist a fiddle, I answered one last night with a blocked condense pipe which is backing up into the boiler, it's a relatively easy fix if you know about these things but he obviously doesn't and therefore best left to a professional , it's classed as part of the boiler anyways so he shouldn't be messing with it.
