A house has a cndensing combi fitted, whilst vacant awaiting sale, heating pipes (flow and return) are stolen.

The energy performance certificate then classes the property as no main heating system.

If the pipes are replaced, and the existing boiler used, is this notifiable? This does not alter the performance of the system.

quite, think the orginal would have been installed by the local authority (ex council). Just checking that only the instation of a new boiler, triggers notification, and that refitting an existing system (rads etc) is not notifable

which numpty says the house has no main heating if the pipes have been stolen, this is probably the same person who would say no heating because the rads have been taken off to decorate, what would he have said if the gas was on a card meter and it had run out, this is why the HIPs failed, 2 day course to issue energy eff cert doesnt give them brains,

What kind of thief would nick the pipes and leave the boiler. Is it an Ideal by any chance?
