When it's gone on too long and become a pain. And you've had to bring in more and more tools to sort stuff and it's gotten a bit messy. And then you finally think you're done and you pack everything up, say your sincerestly friendly goodbyes and sit in your vehicle with a release of breath that sounds like you'll deflate...

And you drive off....

Does anyone else have a slight niggling, slight worrying feeling about some of the work. Not because you've not checked it, you have. It's pressured, tested. But because you were getting stressed and wanted out does anyone else get this vague feeling like a callback is more likely - even if it turns out you don't get one...?

I suppose it's the plumbing equivalent to running out your house in a rush and then spending the night wondering if you've left something on.

If you don't feel like that on every job, you will never make money.

ts natiral to be fair, even when you have tested it and checked it, especially if its the first time off fitting something and especially if you have suffered a leak in a customers house due to a faulty fitting which was not your fault. You think you can spot and stop these but you often assume a manufacturer will make a decent product. I know its silly to assume and it makes a something out of you and me etc. With time you learn to over come this with experience and the ability to deal with issues

i honestly feel sick some times when ive left a job, know what you mean also about the exhale of breath when u finally get back in the van after a stressful day!!

Used to have that sort of feeling when one had dragged on a bit, especially the big sigh when you do get back in the van. Don't have time now, as I'm finishing one job I'm already thinking about the next one.
