Where has all the heating gone?.....

Hi all, I'm REALLY new to this so please forgive me. Boiler is/seems to be firing up, but no heating. I've got hot water, through the immersion. Any guesses on why I'm not getting the heating? Thanks.

PORT DIVERTER VALVE,

i assume you have something like a 'y' or 's' plan heating system?.
near the copper cylinder you will have 3 pipes running into a box with an electrical connection, within this box is a syncronous motor that diverts hot water, heating or both.
it will be the stepper motor within that has kacked it and needs replacing.
subsequently there will ba a manual leaver on the side, slide it accross and will provide hot and heating untill you get it fixed.
