Hi guys,

looking for some advice on which flue gas analyser to buy.

Only really do boilers, cookers and fires

heard stories about high service costs, sensors breaking due to high co readings

any advice appreciated and even the cheapest suppliers

I have a Kane 455, love it, would highly recommend it.

Sometimes things cost a bit more but are worth it, I had a cheap Regin one to start with, looking back it was a waste of money and I should of payed a bit more to start with.

I have a anton sprint v2 used them at college so its what i am used too, like the timed letby and tightness test feature..

Kane 455 for me. Whilst removing the boiler casing the other day, the flap fell off and damaged the screen on my analyser. I rang Kane. I was told a replacement screen will cost £25 + VAT. I was very impressed by that. Very reasonable. Calibration is a good price also. Including VAT it works out about £100.00.

Just treated myself to a new Anton Evo2, tbh it is very similar to my old sprint V2 but does everything I want.

it goes bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

goes bzz, i can manage to work it! works with my old printer and gas sniffer.

Edit to add - I do secrectly covert those testos with the colour displays, not sure why I want on but they do look nice.

I have a kane 455 which ive had for 4 years and a anton which I have to use for the AA....i way prefer the kane as how easy the rubber hose falls off the anton when analysing and awkward flue gets right on my boobs.....but the printer for the anton is much better than the kane one.... I need a mixture of both:)

I have always used my trusted Testo 325 but you can't get them anymore. My work colleague uses a Telegan Sprint V.2 and finds the analyser to be a good tool.

I have an anton evo 2. It works fine apart from the probe moisture trap, which seems to lose its seal and has to be replaced from time to time.

Kane 455 for me does everything you need.
