Looking to fit a Magnaclean Pro 2 but the location will be difficult. Which of the two ports on the filter does the flow of water enter, and which is the exit? Or can flow enter and exit either holes?

Also, can the filter be installed on a horizontal pipe, or vertical only? Many thanks.

Fitted a 28mm pro 2 (I think) today and bumf said it was reversible and could be fitted vertical or horizontal
EDIT
The filter has to be vertical, but the pipe work feeding it can be either

Bit difficult seeing as I haven't bought one yet. The point of my question was to avoid buying something that may not fit my layout?

flow in the bottom and top return (out to the boiler on top) and normally on the return

Talking of ADEY i phoned them up the other day and said i have lost my magancleanse (which i never) and received a load of new stuff . Really good customer care to be honest .

Ffs guys. Here is how to figure out this incredibly complex issues. ....

Adey do a variety of products all of them have a sticker on the front with a picture showing the flow direction. It's a big spiral with an arrow at one end. Some bottom to top ,some top to bottom.

No need for Google if your braincell count is higher than your shoe size

Aye but the op states he's not bought the product so difficult to see the arrows without seeing the product hence Google

I'd be surprised if the pipework couldn't be altered to suit anyway

i made the mistake of buying a mini only to find its not reversable and had to loop the pipework to fit it as pipework was rising from the combi and they are made to go below which is the most common
