Evening all

got to fit a whole house pump in a bungalow with truly atrocious water flow.

There is zero room in the airing cupboard so I'm thinking of positioning the pump directly above in the loft. Running pipe up then back down into the airing cupboard to rejoin pipe runs.

This will need to be a duel impeller but because of the non standard positioning could someone recommend a favoured pump that would do the job well. Doesn't have to be take skin off pressure but around the 1-1.5bar mark would seem reasonable.
cheers

matt

You won't get much under 1.5 bar.

Make sure that you get one designed to pump the whole house, otherwise when its supplying a tap (one impeller pumping against a closed head, the other open) - the seals will eventually pop on a conventional shower pump - even a good one.

A Salamander RHP50 is not too expensive and does the job.

two points get a bigger cws and positive or negative head pump dependent on how low the highest draw off is compared to the cws. the makes are much of a muchness.

CWSC is about a meter up from joists on a platform. So a good 1.5m between foot of CWSC and shower head
