I've done that always put a bucket underneath now :D

The time when you check every joint and then completely forget to solder one of them altogether. Yep, been there. Still, easier to remedy an unsoldered joint than a half-soldered one.

Anyone seen an old balanced flue with a lintel above it supporting the b block ?

Yep, I see it. I like the plywood back board.

Was a pain as couldn't lift the boiler where I wanted it only needed around 3" but I'm not coreing through one :D

No exactly, the house might collapse in a heap if you did :D:D

yep dont know what if anything its supporting, someone might sit on the toilet and end up in the kitchen :D

Had one a few months ago, heard this ominous hissing sound! Said to my son, "hear that I'm sure I've got a pin-hole in an end-feed :mad:". Twas easily drained and sweated up properly, but hey-ho I say if you don't get some sort of leak no-and-again your not a REAL plumber :p:):D:D

to true and its how you deal with them

sorry but jim wins only because ive watched jurassic world :D

On another note I've often cringed at the thought of someone sitting on a pan with no seat, and it disintegrating into shards of 'mega' sharp shards of vitreous china.... ouch, what a bloodbath :eek:

That actually has happened let's say a new person comes into the uk it's common practice in there country to stand on the rim and do there business

Ended up cracking the toilet and you know how sharp it is didn't end well
