Got an ideal logic system boiler to install next week.
converting it from open vented to a sealed system and it will only be doing the heating nothing else so the only control i have to add is a programmable stat.
Most of my work is combi's but i have wired s and y plans up but never done just a system boiler and prog stat can i wire the stat up from the boiler or would it have to be into its own wiring centre.
i'm know i will be able to figure it out on the day but a heads up would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance:detective:

Should be easy. The boiler will come with a wiring guide showing where the thermostat links are - usually in the boiler. After that the control of a system boiler on heat only is very like a combi.

then folow diagram on a programmer and Stan is your uncle :) lol

Is it a system or a heat only your fitting? If it's a heat only ( some people refer to this as a system boiler ) you need to feed pump directly from boiler not via prog/ wiring center.

Don't forget bypass for pump overrun
