wocester 24cdi boiler-pressure reducing quite rapidely, when either water or C/H on demand-requiring frequent topping up-what is causing it.

Nip outside and tell us if the boiler overflow/blowoff is dripping water. Should be a pipe coming out of the wall and bent back around.

First of all, thankyou for your reply.I have checked the outside safety pipe , and water is running out.

Then you have a problem with your expansion vessel or pressure relief valve. Hopefully the latter as it will be cheaper for you.

Its best to replace the prv now any way as when they blow 9 out of 10 times they dont seal up again properly. iam not sure if you can replace the exp vessel in this boiler without demounting the boiler, consider a remotely fitted vessel if this is the case.
