wood gasification boilers

Hi, I'm a plumber from Australia. Just wanted know if anyone could recommend a wood gasification boiler. I have looked on a number of websites inc ETA, orlanski, attack, Kuenzel and froling. I'm looking for a basic robust unit with efficiencies of 90% plus.

Have fitted one ETA log burning unit not a bad bit of kit , instruction and install info ok but took half a day to build up !!

Thanks mate, There is a hydronic plumber who is importing Froeling into Victoria,Australia. I looked at the Froeling website it seemed like a good unit but I'm totally reliant on you guys for info. Wood gasification boilers are simply unheard of here. What are the probs with the Froeling

Have fitted one ETA log burning unit not a bad bit of kit , instruction and install info ok but took half a day to build up !!

I believe the ETA are a good unit and down our way they are available from New Zealand. But the cost is unbelievable. For a SH50 with two 1650L Buffer tanks and a few other bits and pieces they want $33600NZ plus 10% tax plus freight of $500NZ. I can't see the justification for such a huge sum of money. I don't know what they cost over there but I couldn't imagine they would be that much.

Thanks mate, I'm still waiting to hear back from windhager UK. Hey just out of curiosity what do you specialise in or what is your main plumbing activity? I only ask this because I don't know how it all works over there.

Most of the time heating, large house refurbs , boiler change overs and repairs, but have a intrest in biomass and done a couple up to now . like to do a bit self building at nights to !!
