Worcester 24 i Boiler

Hi,
I have boiler Worcester 24i, the boiler can not seem to deliver hot water and heating at the same time and also it runs cold in the middle of a shower. What could be the problem?

if your talking about a combi boiler the heating will stop working when you draw off hot water, but not so you would notice normally. ref going cold during a shower is normally due to the Mrs using the kitchen tap as she got up an hour before you to do her chores or she has just put the dishwasher or washing machine on before she brings up your morning coffee ps I assume Tiara is a pseudonym for Bert the bloke

No, she is not using either washing machine or dishwasher! Someone told me that diverter valve could be faulty, is that right?Also boiler has got priority to give hot water but why water runs cold in the middle of shower although radiators is off?

Needs a looking at. You don't need to be in shower but might entertain gas safe engineer.

the boiler must think the waters hot enough or an internal boiler problem. time to call a gas man.
