does the boiler have to come off the wall to change the expansion vessel on a worcester 24i junior??(not worcester bosch) Ive nowhere to fit a remote one.

You have to take it off the wall in my experience. Id take it off the wall regardless instead of messing with rubber washers etc on a Worcester.

mmm...true mate. And do you charge as you would for a combi swap plus materials? or less....not had to take boilers off the wall to change expansion vessels before....always been lucky to have the ones i have changed to be on the side of the boiler!!!

Can you not fit an external vessel? May work out cheaper for your customer.

Nah mate....the Boiler is in a kitchen cupboard and the old airing cupboard is boxed in with a shower cubicle and cupboards. No where to put one without it being on show.

I wouldnt charge the same as a combi swap as it wont take anywhere near as long, or atleast shouldnt do. Estimate how long it will take, add an hour on for unforseen complications and price it that way.
