Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can shed some light to this. Having problem with hot water on this boiler, whenever the heating on for a while, hot water stop working but when heating is not on long enough hot water is fine. Tested all the components as per MI fault finding schematic procedures, all components seem fine, i.e the thermistors, over heat stat, fan, AP etc. Cleaned the flow turbine and filter and the problem persists. Spoken to Worcester technical helpline and they reckon the heat exchange probably sludge up and suggested putting some cleansing solution into the system and let it runs run a while then flush out. They said there is no point in removing the heat exchanger as it is such an old boiler can be a pain to take out and clean. Is this a fair suggestion, or has anyone got any other idea what could cause this problem?

Many thanks.
