Hi, can anyone help?
I have a worcester 24i RSF....
The central heating doesn't fire up - the flame ignites & then dies out shortly after the igniter stops clicking.
The hot water works fine. If the hot water is already on the heating will work....
Thanks
Nick

Hi, are you saying if you run the water whilst the heating is switched on, it will continue to run for the heating normally after turning the tap off? So in effect you are starting the heating via running the hot water?

Hi,
Yes...
The heating fails to ignite in the usual way, but if I run the hot water the boiler ignites - then if I turn the heating on (while the flame is lot) it will work.

sounds like it could be a problem with the ignition of gas with the central heating if it lights on water ok.. You will need a gas safe engineer to check the ignition gas pressure to make sure its enough to pass the rectification process.

Thanks for the reply... I have an engineer coming to diagnose & fix next week...
