I'm having problems diagnosing a problem with a worc 28i combi.

The boiler lights when there is a call for hot water then goes out immediately and then relights. Once lit the boiler heats up until the water is very hot then switches off completely and the water goes cold. This is then repeated so that whilst there is hot water it's useless for showering and the very hot water is potentially a risk to the young children in the house. I've replaced the Hot water thermister but this made no difference.

thanks in advance for any advice.
