worcester 28i junior or rehema avanta28c?....your thoughts please guys. always fitted worcester's and never had a problem but i am curious about the rehema boilers. got a job coming up and i'm gonna use one or the other.

Well my vote goes with Rehema

But then again my claim to fame is I have only ever fitted three worcester boilers,Two by request and a 24i combi ,as offered at a too good a price to turn down, to get rid of old model in stock and to be fair have never had a problem with them
However do not like aluminium heat exchangers, which worcecter have,Rehema is stainless steel,as is the Vaillant, which again ,I put before the worcester, for some reason there has always been a boiler I prefer above the worcester, think also have always been over priced

puddle....what do you get in the box with rehema's?? do you get the wall plate etc...?? and where's the best price you've seen them? the plumbers merchants i use havn't even heard of them!!!!

Hi,
Tading Post sells them and also bhl i think. Also, boilers2go have the combis on ebay for sale, but when searching on there try broag advanta cos they spelt it wrong!
Cheers

You get a wall plate included, time clock extra,if you are doing straight swop, note the flue is off centre
There are doing a cheaper eco combi range, this has no wall plate and you have to purchase fittings to flow and return and cold water isolation ,also just standard flue and elbow supplied,no other flue arrangement recommended on this model
I use HPS in london,if you ring Rehema they will give you any local stockest
If fitting for first time, read up on start up sequence when first power up

do they have a built in filling loop and by-pass?? i also see they do a wall plate and pipework tails to take all the pipework up and behind the boiler which could be handy given the space i have.

They do have an internal by pass

They do not have an internal filling loop, but you get a good quality filling loop in boiler box, complete with cap ends for when filling loop hose removed

see details below

remehas give the best instructions i have ever seen, also full list of schematics for wiring any type of set up plus vertical pipe kit for those who hate pulling sets (me) £30 or so, an offset jig for vert pipework , choice of several flues for any situation and fully modulated prgrammer and stats. only weigh 30kg andI find them preferable to worcester and vaillant (which I also install). currently looking at intergas which are costlier than remeha but cheaper than worcester/vaillant, but their design doesnt fit my needs quite at present, external expn vssl or one mounted at the back ie baxi 105 again, but clever heat exchanger for both HW and heating so no diverter valves and plate heat exchanger so could be more reliable.
