Hi guys,

Does anyone know how you go about repressurising a Worcester 28i Junior boiler? I've just moved into a house with one but there's no instruction booklet and I can't see any taps or turnable valves on the bottom? There also doesn't appear to be an internal filling key slot. I'm a bit clueless with boilers (as I'm sure you can tell) but in the past I've learned the hard way not to wait for the pressure to drop before trying to find out these things!

Thanks in advance.

it has to have a fill loop or it wouldn't have filled in the first place so your in luck you've just got to find it if it has a key its at the front slightly to the right at the bottom its inside a link which is black plastic with a white square peg the thumb turn is quite often broken and you may need a new key if its losing pressure and the prv is letting by thankfully your a long way from me and I cant help but most people take the boiler off the wall to replace it good old worcester

Hope your not near me either but check u tube . Get boiler serviced..... The one done before u bought house will have been a joke

If you have just moved into the house, it would make sense to get a registered engineer in to take a look.

I know the previous owners may have a gas safety cert done before you moved in, but is more likely a safety check more than an actual service.

Ask him to give your boiler a good service, and cast his eye over rest of the system. He will tell you how totop pressure up and give you piece of mind all is well .

If you don't know a good local chap post in the Looking for engineer section of this site.
