Hi. I have this old boiler in a flat I just bought. We tried to commission it today but the plumber said the electrics in the boiler don't work. We had no reason to suspect the boiler was faulty, so was wondering whether any of you had come across these and whether there are any common faults or is there something we're missing? He mentioned PCB but someone else wondered whether we had pressed the reset button. Plumber was in a strop today anyway so not sure if he could be bothered looking at it properly so before I get an expensive repair done I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I wish I could have afforded to scrap it but it's not an option. thanks

if you just moved into flat have you checked gas is on or if its prepaid with credit??
