Hi there,

I've recently moved into a house with a Worcester Bosch greenstar 24i mk iv boiler. It has a DT20RF control panel but the wireless transmitter was not here when we moved in. The hot water works but the central Heating side of the control panel won't let is toggle between 'on', 'timed', 'off', etc. The wireless icon button is flashing and I wonder if it's not working because the wireless transmitter is missing. Is this a vital part of kit that needs replacing or can the boiler be configured to be used without it?

thanks,

Tori.

The transmitter is built into the boiler fascia...

If you turn the room stat down & up sometimes that will reset the link otherwise follow the re-establishing rf link in the instructions of the dt20rf manual

Hi there. Thanks for your reply. I have looked at the Worcester PDF guide on the DT20RF, and the wireless remote control appears to be called the 'Transmitter'. It didn't seem right to me either, but please see link to this PDF here: https://www.worcester-bosch.co.uk/support/document/download/8716106859

The part that's mounted into the boiler fascia is apparently called the 'Receiver'. I would really appreciate anyone's help on whether this wireless remote RF transmitter control is a vital piece of equipment to the functioning of the receiver?

Thanks,

Tori

Sorry I misunderstood... Yes you will need the wireless rf room thermostat or it won't work...

Number of times people move house and take the transmitter with them, usely means complete new unit, unless you know where other people have moved to .
