Help please !!!
Had a greenstar junior 24i installed 16 months ago. Virtually since it was first installed this boiler has suffered loss of pressure. The pump valve has been replaced twice as the boiler was leaking internally and the expansion vessel has been replaced as it wasn't working.
I live in a static home (not a caravan) so the pipe work can be accessed from underneath the house. One of the Worcester technicians insisted that we must have a leak on our pipes - well we have had most of the pipework replaced and have been assured that there are aboslutely definitely no leaks, yet the boiler still loses pressure.
Last night it 'locked out'.
The Worcester technician says it was a blockage in the condensation pipe. Does this sound reasonable? Frankly since this boiler was fitted there have been nothing but problems and we feel stuck in the middle of the installers and Worcester as to what is causing the problem. Anyone got any suggestions?
Are the Magnaclean things worth having fitted?
Cheers, Mel
