Hi all. Hope you had a good week.

I got the above boiler which keeps going to lock on only in hot water. Occasionally it lights when the heating is on and you turn it on. Got some new probes for it but anything else you think it could be.

Cheers

So looking this up it seems you can just use a pencil and this fixes it?

Not gas related but I am in need of some Mcalpine T29-LN's anyone know who stocks them as I cannot really wait for delivery.

Cheers

city should have them or bss

So It doesn't look like I will get those T29's by tomorrow. Can anyone recommend an alternative to connect to a 1 1/2 waste that does not need a trap.

It is for connecting to waterless urinals. Cheers

I'm sure they do an 1-1/4 & 1-1/2 hepvo
You can get bent or straight adapters.
In fact I have one on my bath tub

yea arnt the adapters 11/4 to 40mm tho? havent use one in ages so might be miss remembering

arnt the inlets only 11/4?

You would have thought so, but for some reason this perticular model is 1 1/2. I tracked down a supplier of the T29-LN and got them delivered special delivery. Also ordered some of the 1 1/4. All arrived today but no T29-LN. grrr.

I have so many jobs that are just not getting finished for some reason or another and it is literally making me want to go pop

Gas pressure must of been non existent?

It was actually fine the 1st time I was there but only there for quick due to it being an evening. Then when I went back I had it on for longer and it shot right down to 4mb!! Where does this stuff come from as I did some work on this a month ago and pressure was fine

In short it's the gas dust aka Hydrogen sulphide

It's recommend to fit a filter before the boiler if it's that bad / had problems before
