just had a call, customer complaining no hot water out from the kitchen tap,
and in the shower up stairs ,but when open toilet tap in the ground floor toilet basin hot water coming out!!!

i am going tomorrow to have a look !

is it diverter valve job ???

any help with advice will make me happy

thank you

Your problem has nothing to do with the diverter valve. It is related to the pressure of water from the cold water header tank. Check that it has water in it and that the ball valve is not stuck up.

combi boiler is there,no tank!all high presser!
customer said if heating is on there is hot water on all taps

and if they open thee WC hot tap first there is hot water on every tap.but if you open first kitchen tap or bathroom one there is not hot water !

could it be do with a flow switch?
where about is boiler?

they said if you call for hot water first in kitchen boiler does not fire,if you call for hot water from WC (which is on ground floor to)it does fire up and delivers water to all taps!

ao i take it that the WC tap and boiler are quite close together then?

So i take it that the WC tap and boiler are quite close together then?

also check system pressure should be 1.5bar when cold and 2 when hot. recon you should start at flow sensor/switch

good luck

wc tap is further away, kitchen tap is below boiler!customer said they have constant drop of presser once a week or so they have to top up! and no sign of leak in the house.
