Found this plug/bung in a Worcester gas valve. It didnt allow any gas through so went to fault.

Was thinking its been left in from testing in the factory, any other ideas?
 
contact worcester, im sure they would like to know, maybe need to check a batch!
 
I have sent an email to the technical department. Will see what they say.
