Evening all,

I've been asked to quote moving an RD532i combi, my concern is that it could end up being a costly job for the customer or myself.

My question for you guys is......Have any of you had to move one of these in the past and if so did you encounter any problems that could trip you up if not mentioned before starting the work?

I know it's one of the early condensing boilers from worcester and BG went mad for them years ago, but as with a lot of old boilers do they give you grief when being moved (any more than the usual weeps expected)?

I will quote for a new seal kit for it and possibly a new flue (chances are it will not like to be pulled about after so many years and not knowing what the flue integrity is like as it passes through the wall) which leads me to my next Q.......Will a standard 60/100 horizontal flue kit fit like for like??

Thanks for any advise

Clint

I moved one about three years ago, no problems at all although it only moved about a metre. Flue was fine and reused !!

I can't see you having any issues, moved these before without any problems.

No need to worry now as talked customer into having a new boiler instead......got a good deal on an Ideal Logic Plus and the 7 year warranty was a deal clincher!
