Hi all. I attended a training day down at Worcester on there cdi classic boilers, wasn't very impressed.
It didn't seem to teach anything, it was more a case of getting blokes through the door.
Any of you guys attended there courses or recommend a course???

Ive done a few worcester course and found them decent enough. Prob depends who you get as a tutor and what the class as a whole wants out of it. Sometimes if all the attending engineers are at a simular level you get more out if it. Sometimes you get a different level between the engineers...... like those that dont know how to commission and thoses that want to learn about the advanced software parameters.

They are designed to cater for general things really.

Always liked the cdi training courses at Worcester... Who took the class? The last one we did we stripped the whole boiler, plus all the fault codes etc...

I'm not saying it was a bad course but it wasn't great. There was only 3 of us in the class. The tutor seemed to be really excited that the new I range boiler cover had been changed lol.

I think his name was Richard. We touched on commissioning and servicing. Stripped the burner and removed fan. We also went through the software setup. Also used the multimeter to check certain parts of the boiler.
As I say it wasn't a bad course. It was my first one so what do I know lol.

Rob Davenport is the best ;)

Did you not remove the hydraulic block?

Did you learn anything?

Did you get fed?

Did you become an accredited installer?

Did you get any t/shirts?

No t-shirts. Not accredited.
Got fed and learned a little lol.

Gee ( substituted for a word starting with 'F' )

Sound like you had an entertaining, enlightening day then.

Bet you'll be promoting their products in the future
