I'm thinking say yes, plan to just clean the rubber pan con seal, bit of plumbers mate on new pan waste spigot if it looks like it would help but inform customer no guarantees on how long it lasts and that if it doesn't it's tiles off due to the tiler making impossible to change pan con. Or would you just skip it rather than get involved?

Whether or not you put a disclaimer in about how long the flexi will last I think you'll be back sooner rather than later to change it.
