Another new entrant looking to get on site experience with a gas fitter.
I am based in Redditch, near Birmingham (but will travel), i'm a self employed electrician, NICEIC registered which may be useful to you.

Please leave contact details if interested.

thanks, Aidan

Believe me i'm under no illusions I can fast track it and retire at 40! Electricians have the same too, except you can 'qualify' far quicker.

To be honest I want to go back to being employed, but multi skilled. I'm not really cut out for the business side of things, chasing work, waiting for payment, etc.
