    Cochran Boilers - Croppie - have you worked on them?

    Not done anything on one for a very long time but I bet Croppie is familiar with them. Helped a gas engineer plumb one in to a big leisure centre a number of years ago. Quite a beast it was.

    Anyone done this? Have a customer wanting to change a system to thermal store with stove, solar etc. Existing combi boiler they want to use to drive the cyinder as a backup in emergencies. I guess I could just hook it up using the flow and return and disable the hot water side and controls...

    Water getting into oil tanks

    Have had a lot of this over the last few years. Usually caused by the delivery companies accidentally loosening the fill point when they remove their hoses, allowing rainwater to get round the seal. I stick them up with silicone now.
