DIY Vokera repair?
Once the front cover is taken off the front of a boiler it is classed as "gas work", so regardless of weather or not you are touching a gas part it will be deemed as illegal work on your part. My advice to you would be leave well alone and get a GSE in to do the work. ok it will cost a bit but...- villa_tom

Hi all I have just serviced a gas fire (valor Firelight 328) all above board, full strip down, drop test, paperwork etc Charged the bloke £55.00, while speaking to him whilst doing the service he told me people had quoted him between £80.00 - £100.00, one bloke said £120.00.
