    Natural Draught flue too close to door

    Hi, I have been asked to service a boiler, the customer sent me some photos, Ideal classic with the natural draught flue, its about 150mm away from a sliding back door, the opening part. The boiler is at least 20 years old with no reports of fumes How would you categorise it? Cheers

    Uponor underfloor heating

    I have a customer who has the above system, it has stopped working on the upstairs circuit. I have very limited knowledge of underfloor heating.     Pumping over when pump stops?

    As above, installed new boiler and pump. Grundfos 15-60. When the pump stops water shoots out of the open vent. It is configured correctly, when it first happend I thought the cf could be partially blocked so I renewed it to no avail. Open vent was at least 300mm above the tank. I know it should...

    Badly limescaled heating system

    Good evening chaps. Has anyone hade experience descaling a heating system, standard y plan open vented system with a potterton he boiler. Some numpty put the pump directly above the boiler on the return. The boiler kept locking out every 30 secs and the customer kept resetting it for 2 YEARS...

    Vertical flue slate roof

    Working on 1900 house with newish slate roof. I have all the proper ladders etc. Anyone had experience using a pitch roof weather slate on a slate roof, anything to look out for. It looks a bit fragile as do all slate roofs, customer said he has been up on it before Cheers
