    Vaillant EcoTEC control panel

    On the front control panel, below the boiler rest button, is a small plastic cover with what appears to be a comms socket behind. This is missing on my friends boiler and they have been told not to use the it. Is this not just a cover or does it really affect the boiler. Thanks in advance

    Been out today to this boiler to do an cp12. Put my anylzer in the air intake and got 13 % 02. Checked all flue seals, change heat ex seal checked checked fan ,removed main heat ex and checked for cracks and leaks. Found nothing.. im stumped . Any ideas????

    Vaillant ecotec plus 835 low gas pressure.

    Fitted an ecotec plus 835 yesterday and was only getting 15.5mb working pressure at the gas valve. WP at the meter was 19.5mb. puzzled because there is 9m of 28mm pipe and 4m of 22mm before a stub of 15mm. Gas rate of appliance was within tolerance....15.5mb is also within tolerance but too low...
