Hello I wanted some advice on what boiler I need. A system or heat only boiler. My property was built in 1998. I have an unvented cylinder, there is no separate water tank in the loft. I have two en-suite rooms i.e. one bath and one shower. The system runs off the mains water supply. Two...

How do I get heat to a far away radiator

Hi, I have a radiator here and it isn't getting any heat to it. Water runs out of both sides and it's been cleaned out. It works when all the other radiators are off so what I'm thinking is that the hot water isn't reaching the radiator due to the pump not having the strength to get it there...

Baxi 80e continuously cycling on and off on heat

I have a Baxi 80e, old, but works well and I'm told easy to work on and spares available at a reasonable price, so not keen to put in a new one just for the sake of it. At the beginning of April, it developed a fault on the heating side (hot water is fine). It lights (when heat is requested by...

Condensation inside Heat only boiler casing - a couple of questions.

Hi all, I've got a British Gas 330+ Heat only boiler and it displayed an F25 error (lack of water iirc) on Sunday. I read the manual and bled the radiators (1 rad had quite a bit of air) and topped the system up a little and sure enough I could then hear water flowing back into the boiler. I...

    Two rads do not heat

Two radiators in extension do not get hot. Been flushed through bled etc. Rads balanced in house. They get hot when all other rads off but not roasting to the touch, the minute you turn on any other rads, they go coolish again. Could boiler not be strong enough? If so, would changing all...

Set Worcester combi boiler to circulate without heat.

Hi there - I have a Worcester Greenstar 25Si combi boiler running our heating rads. I've recently added a small tank with a heating element powerd by solar into the rads circuit. It's producing good heat, but I need a circulation pump to be on to move the heat around the system. Ideally I'd like...

Worcester Negative Fan Pressure decrease after cleaning heat exchanger

Hi, I am new gas safe registered. I serviced a old worcester R28 HE Z7-28 system Boiler. found negative fan pressure -3.95mb lower than MI's -4.2mb, Gas rate is 2.82 m3/h, little bit lower than MI'S 2.9M3/H, so clean heat exchanger very well. after that check fan negative pressure, -3.11mb...

    Blocked heat exchanger

Hi, I have a Baxi Duo Tech Combi 33 boiler fitted to my small bore system in 2010. When the boiler was fitted I suspect no corrosion inhibitor was added to the system. Over a period of time I lost flow to a radiator, this was resolved by renewing a completely blocked section of pipework and...
